Happy new year everyone!
Im sure by now some resolutions have been broken (I'm guilty) I promised to have 'Blog friday' every week to let you all know what we're up to... fail.. it's Saturday! But I promise next week it'll be friday!
So we're back! We've had our two weeks off, we've pulled apart the potters workshop and returned it to some semblense of order. We've dashed to St Ives, Cornwall for new year and walked Cornish beaches in rain! We did some searching for new makers too, some of which will have stock with us as early as next week, can't wait to share that with you!
We've parted with our award winning christmas window, we won Porthmadog's best dressed window for the second year running! This January we've decided to go with an outdoors theme, we're donating all our 5p carrier bag charges to the local mountain rescue team who do such a great job at keeping us all safe when we're on the mountains especially with the rumour of snow on the way!!
Over the holiday Mrs G started work on her new years resolution to sew more (rather than all this paper work) her first make of 2016 is a dress to wear to work, the second is under way with more in the pipeline... the potter does love pins all over the house....
Now we're back in the shop (just a heads up we're now closed on a sunday but open 10-5pm every other day) we've gone straight into St Dwynwen's and Valentines day preparations. We have lots of lovely cards arriving very soon with lots of little love tokens and gifts. I'll share more of those with you next week.
Also if you're feeling extra creative we're running a ring/ cufflink bowl making course on January 30th http://www.glosters.co.uk/products/ring-bowl-workshop
We still have spaces available but it is booking up so don't hang around too long is you're planning on coming!
More next week... on Blogging Friday I Promise!
