January 27th will be the launch of our new creative hub here at Glosters, a creative space to run courses or work on your own personal projects.
We'll be expanding on our range of courses and offering dressmaking, weaving, ceramics as well as guest makers who will also be running courses throughout the year.
We hope to offer children's craft clubs as well as adult creative clubs that you'll be able to pop to of an evening for a chat and a sew using any of our equipment.
The space comprises of two large course rooms as well as a kitchen space for those vital tea & cake breaks!
One room is fully equipped with 6 sewing machines with their own designated sewing stations as well as a large cutting table. The room is available to rent as a whole, for a group friends, for a maker to run their own course, or each machine is available to rent individually, a space for new makers/ start up businesses to use or perhaps for individuals who have a pair of large curtains to make and just not enough space at home! We will soon announcing a range of dress making and sewing courses that we'll be holding in our sewing room.
The larger of the two rooms is suitable for larger groups up to 12, a large table fills the room with plenty of room for everyone to work. This is a great space to hold courses such as hand embroidery, lampshade making, knitting and crochet classes or for a group of friends to meet and make. We hope to hold our popular ceramic decoration courses is this space from now on.
The Hub is available to book now (dates from January 28th) please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions on the following email- email@example.com
