Raku Autumn Pumpkin Ornaments Medium

Here at Glosters, we love nothing more than some autumn decor!

This year we’ve been casting real pumpkins so we could get an authentic pumpkin shape in clay. Great to decorate a window sill or around the wood burner. 

Made from stoneware clay the pumpkins are a little different to our others, we’ve raku fired these to 1000c before plunging them into a container of sawdust achieving these gorgeous colours, each pumpkin has then been cooled in water and scrubbed clean.

As these are made from really pumpkins, each pumpkin varies slightly. 

These pumpkins are handmade in our designer pottery workshop in Porthmadog, North Wales, using high quality stoneware clay and glazes from our local supplier.
