Last Saturday we packed up the pottery and took it all to Gwyl Fwyd Caernarfon for the day (a food festival just up the road). Tom was super busy in the morning with Emily hosting another throwing course in the workshop. I went on the jolly yo the fair!

We went for a whole new look for the stand this year and this was our first fair with the new vases and colours.

We had a really successful day, with lots of positive feedback for the new work along with suggested colours for a winter range (we're ordering some test glazes next week!).

Heres a few photo's of our stand at the fair-

Our next couple of fair are The Criccieth Food Slam on June 24th where we'll be taking the potters wheel along for a chance to throw your own pot. Our next event after that is on July 2nd in Derby. We where delighted to be selected to sell at this fair after visiting the Spring fair as customers, it's such a beautiful fair we cannot wait! (plus we go one our holiday the next day ;) )

Just today we've had some super new arrivals from Stolen Form. We bought one of these brick vases a few weeks ago for ourselves but its had so many lovely comments we had to stock them! We're now stocking the brick vases and tin can mugs (the mugs will make great fathers day gifts!)

With summer fast approaching and some glorious weather we've taken the chance to do some planting. Your may have previously spotted our yarn bombed bike outside of the shop, this year we've planted up a hanging basket for it in the hope of some beautiful flowers.

As summer get closer our thought in the workshop switch to winter, with sample taken often 3-4 weeks to see the end rest we have to start early so we can decide on final designs, so... with winter glazes arriving next week we've started on the mammoth task that is our christmas decoration collection! Last year we sold out of decorations and Tom and I spent evenings making them at home! this year we plant to be fully prepared! So with Bethany joining the team this weekend for the summer decorations are in full swing!

A little sneak peak...

P.s Don't forget our Eisteddfod is just over a week away! we've made all the rosettes and we're getting really excited for the main event on bank holiday monday.

More next week
