Full Time Pottery Glazer

Full time 9-5pm Tuesday to Saturday
We at Glosters are looking for a workshop assistant/ glazer.
The job will predominately include helping our glazers with the daily tasks of glazing our ceramics here at Glosters and working alongside our proactive team creating pieces for our seasonal launches.
All training will be given and you'll initially work alongside our glazer, ensuring plenty of experience is gained.
Duties will include-
- Stacking and emptying kilns
- Glazing our ceramic wares depending on the orders received/ stock levels or upcoming launches.
- Communicating clearly with the whole team with regards to any stock you may need for glazing or any stock that is coming through the kilns.
- Ordering stock for the glazing section and ensuring plenty of stock is available.
Our ceramics workshop is a close knit small team who all help each other in their daily tasks, we're looking for someone who's eager to learn, friendly and willing to chip in where needed.
The job is the national minimum wage.
We include a yearly bonus and 15% staff discount.

Seasonal Shop Assistant
Part-Time Seasonal Shopkeeper
Hours- 2-3 days 10-5pm
Flexibility to cover holiday leave as needed.
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to work at our central Porthmadog Store from April/ May to the end of October.
Ideally this individual has a knowledge of Glosters and how the company has grown in the area over the last 11 years. They will feel comfortable chatting with our customers about how the ceramics are made and the ethos of the company.
The position will require to be able to work by yourself. Opening up the shop for 10am and closing/ cashing up at the end of the day at 5pm. You will need to communicate any orders or stock shortages with our Porthmadog based workshop to enable us to keep on top of the stock. The shop will need to be kept clean and the shelves restocked when needed. Knowledge of using an epos system would be beneficial but training will be given, bilingual in Welsh & English would be an advantage. Experience with some visual merchandising and shop displays would also be beneficial.
The position meets the national minimum wage.
