Santes Dwynwen/ Valentines

Hello! Happy New year! 

We're straight into Santes Dwynwen and Valentines here at the shop. Santes Dwynwen is the welsh version of valentines day and is celebrated on January 25th, valentines is of course the 14th of Feb.

This year we've helped organise a Santes Dwynwen window competition in town, it's been lovely to see all the windows pop up this week ready for judging. We spent a day this week building our window ready for the competition (turns out chicken wire is aggressive...! and we needed a lot more paper than expected!)

We've had lots of cards and gifts in ready for Santes Dwynwen and valentines- Cards from Oh!Sushannah and Nansi Nudd , along with gifts from Flossy Tea Cake and Mike Davies.

We have also been back into the workshop and have been working on some new ceramic decorations which will be ready in time for Santes Dwynwen and Valentines. We've had a little fun with these with decorations with 'happy wife, happy life' on (you know it's true ;) )
