Hi,

With the summer holidays not far off or having already started for some you! We thought we'd share with you a nice & easy cocktail recipe created by our glazer Shannon, here at Glosters. When she's not glazing tumblers she can be found mixing up a cocktail storm!

We're calling it a 'Pineapple Shan'gria!'

If you like a bit of rum and pineapple then we promise you're going to love this! It's a really quick and easy recipe, perfect for sharing if you've got friends around for a BBQ, a big jug of this might just do the trick as refreshments.

Ingredients

1 bottle of white wine

2 Muglets of pineapple Juice (220 ml)

2 Mugsters of coconut rum (130ml)

2 Muglets of sparkling water (220ml)

1 Chopped lime

1 Sliced Pineapple

 Method

1. Add the wine, pineapple juice, coconut rum into a large jug, add the chopped lime and a few slices of pineapple. Cover and pop in the fridge for a few hours.

2. Remove from the fridge and add the sparkling water before serving. Serve over ice with a slice of pineapple for a refreshing beverage.

That's it!

How easy is that?

Easy to make in advance, making you the 'hostess with the mostess' this summer!

We've been enjoying some (obviously not at work.. promise there's been no drinking on the job!) in our tumblers and also they look fantastic in our sandcastle mugs!

All our tumblers are fully food safe and waterproof despite their drippy design, or if you're thinking you'll need a larger serving to get through the holidays check out our beakers too, they've just come back in stock. Remember that our beakers and tumblers are suitable for warm drinks too so when the weather no doubt changes they'll be perfect for mulled cider this autumn.

If you have a go at making your own 'Shan'gria' do let us know and tag us in any photos over on instagram @glosterspottery
Enjoy!
