Drippy Autumn Bat Handmade Mug

There’s something so cosy about wrapping your hands around a handmade mug full of steaming hot tea or coffee, letting the temperature of the drink warm your soul. As the leaves start to turn and the weather gets cooler as we approach autumn, we embrace ‘hygge’, as the Danish call it: or ‘the art of getting cosy’.

To really enhance this experience, these mugs from Glosters have a drippy black glaze that conjures thorughts of clear nights, and is embossed with a hand carved autumn bat stamp, each bat is hand painted in black. Top up the ceramic mug with your favourite beverage and let the warmth wash over you.

The autumn bat handmade mug is available in one sizes:

10cm height x 8.5cm width (11cm including handle)
Holds approximately 3/4 a pint.
A large handmade coffee mug for a big coffee or a warming soup. 

All of the Glosters handmade mugs and contemporary ceramics are made in our pottery workshop in Porthmadog, North Wales. We use the finest stoneware clay from our Stoke-on-Trent-based supplier, who also provides our phenomenal glazes. 

Due to the fact that they’re all made by hand, they can vary slightly in size, shape and glaze from those pictured. Thanks to the high quality of the clay and glazes, the handmade mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe.
