Our Pottery Shop in Porthmadog is Now a Cabin
The Glosters ceramics shop has taken many different forms over the years. It all started with our first mugs, which we sold from our coffee shop. As the popularity of our ceramics grew, we eventually moved into a large pottery shop in Porthmadog, where we were based for many years. Now, we've moved the shop into the most adorable cabin that lives directly in front of the Glosters pottery workshop in the Penamser Business Park.

Just ring the doorbell when you arrive and someone will come and let you in.

Limited spaces of free parking are available in front of the workshop.

Our pottery cabin is easily reachable via public transport, as we're located just a ten minute walk from the Porthmadog train station.
About the Cabin
Visiting the Glosters pottery cabin is an excellent way to see, touch and experience our handmade ceramics for yourself before purchase. You'll be able to feel how lightweight the pieces are (while still being incredibly sturdy), and experiment with how different colour combinations look when displayed together. As everything is made by hand, each piece is unique, as there can be variations to the glaze pattern, especially in our signature drip, so this is the perfect opportunity to pick the exact piece you want and take it home with you.

When you come to the cabin, one of the Glosters pottery team will let in to browse to your heart's content. Just ring the bell and someone will pop out from the workshop to open the cabin for you, which is your opportunity to meet one of our talented team: Whether it's Myfanwy or Tom, the owners, or one of our talented team of ceramists, you'll be able to ask as many questions as you want about the Welsh pottery.
Handmade in North Wales
The cabin is parked directly in front of our pottery workshop, where we make every single piece of Glosters pottery by hand from start to finish, including throwing, glazing, and firing. This means every item is a one-of-a-kind, made with love, and ready to become a beloved piece of functional art that will bring joy with every use.
Things to Know Before you Visit
Order Pickup
If you've ordered online and selected pick up at the workshop, please DO NOT try to collect until you've had a notification to say it's ready. We can't process online orders on the spot.
Returning Items
You can return pieces to us at the pottery cabin, including online orders. Just make sure to bring your order details, including order number, with you. See our returns policy.
Online Discounts Not Accepted at the Cabin
Unfortunately we can't accept discount codes in the cabin or at the workshop. If you want to use a code you've received from one of our emails, you'll need to place your order of ceramics online.
