A Christmas Tree Star from Glosters

Christmas Tree Star Decoration

Regular price £24.00
Taxes included.

The star is one of the most iconic symbols of Christmas, earning it pride of place on many a Christmas tree each year. This Christmas tree star decoration is our take on the star tree topper, cast in a lightweight ceramic and glazed in a bright yellow for a subtle and sophisticated finish.

All the details

The 3D Christmas Tree star decoration shape has been cast from a decoration that Myfanwy and Tom bought from Blackpool Illuminations in 2015, as part of a wedding anniversary trip. For years it lay dormant until, when inspiration struck, it became the model for this fabulous ceramic holiday decoration.

As much as it's a beautiful decoration, our Christmas tree star decoration acts as a reminder that all things have their time, and Christmas is the perfect time to slow down, get rest, and find new strength within. The star decoration can be placed as a tree topper, and also has holes either side to be displayed as a handing ornament.

Christmas Tree Star Decoration Size:

The Christmas tree stars are made in our pottery workshop in North Wales by our team of talented ceramists, using high quality stoneware clay chosen for its strength and durability, meaning the sturdy piece will last year after year, season after season.

The star decoration is part of our 2026 Christmas collection, which includes a number of ceramic Christmas decorations as well as functional artwork in the shape of festive dinnerware and handmade mugs. All can be combined into one flat rate of domestic UK shipping, pay just £4.95 to grow your collection of handmade ceramics or stock up on pottery gifts to tuck under the tree.

Pottery Care Instructions

Tableware

Can I put my tableware in the dishwasher?

Yes. All our ceramic tableware is dishwasher safe, including plates, bowls, and pouring and mixing bowls.

Can I use it in the microwave?

Yes, unless it has a metallic glaze. Metallic glazes can spark, so keep those pieces out of the microwave.

Will cutlery mark the glaze?

Occasionally, cutlery leaves grey marks on the glaze. Bar Keepers Friend removes them easily.

Mugs, muglets, mugsters & beakers

Can they go in the dishwasher?

Each handmade mug is made by hand, so we recommend washing it by hand too.

Can I microwave them?

We'd rather you didn't. To help your mug last longer, heat drinks in a jug or pan, then pour them in.

Jugs & vases

Are your vases watertight?

Yes. Each handmade vase has a clear glaze inside, so it holds water and keeps your flowers fresh.

How should I clean a jug or vase?

Wash them by hand.

The Pottery
Two decorative ceramic Christmas tree ornaments with green and white glaze, featuring circular cutouts that reveal warm light, set in white snow with festive blurred lights in the background.

Each piece we make has its own story as to how it began, how the form came about and the work emerged as part of our range.

Mug & Toast Plate Set from Glosters

We believe that the story, the soul of a piece, doesn't stop there. It continues with its new owner, where you bought it, why you choose that glaze.

A Christmas Tree Star from Glosters

All handmade ceramics hold far more than their original function. They hold memories from their maker, from their owner and all are individual.

A little glimpse behind the glaze

Handmade means hands-on, and that comes with its fair share of chaos. We wanted to let you in on what our workshop really looks like, clay dust, wonky first attempts and all, before a piece ever reaches your table.
