Gilbert Redbreast

Gilbert, the Glosters Pumpkin Lantern, has decided to imitate his favourite bird this holiday season, becoming nearly unrecognisable as Gilbert Redbreast! The ceramic robin lantern is Gilbert's latest take on seasonal attire, just in time for Christmas and ready to help set a cosy mood.

Handmade in our pottery workshop in North Wales, the ceramic robin lantern is the perfect shape and size to fit over a tealight candle, with this wide eyes and raised wings revealing the shine of flickering flames from within. The ceramic will get hot when used with lit candle flames, so we recommend using battery-operated tealights. Never leave lit candles unattended and keep out of reach of children.

Ceramic Robin Lantern Size:
Approx 9cm height x 8cm width

The lightweight yet sturdy ceramic robin is made to last, so once the holidays end you can pack him away safely until next year (though we wouldn't blame you if you leave him out all year!) Robins are arguably Britain's favourite bird, and the saying "robins appear when loved ones are near" makes the ceramic robin a thoughtful gift for anyone who is missing loved ones over the holidays.

All of the Welsh ceramics in our Christmas 2026 collection are are eligible for flat rate £4.95 domestic UK shipping - what better excuse to get yourself new pottery mugs and stock up on Christmas decor and pottery gifts all in one go!

Please note that due to the nature of handmade ceramics, each ceramic robin may differ slightly from that pictured.
