Christmas Morning Hamper

Regular price £65.00
Taxes included.

This hamper has everything required to fast-track joy on Christmas morning, including two of our incredibly popular mugs in festive glazes, plus tea, ginger things and jam - all that's left is pop the kettle on!

All the details

First up is the mugs. These are the same design and shape as our ever-popular handmade mugs, which are beloved for their overall shape including the curved lip, which make them an absolute delight from which to sip. They're made from start to finish in our pottery workshop in Porthmadog using stoneware clay chosen for its strength, so you'll experience a lightweight piece that is also durable, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe (we recommend hand washing for best care).

Next, the Ginger Thins. We've included a package of the delicious biscuits from Sawley Kitchen, an award-winning British business that hand-makes the treats from scratch at their bakery in North Yorkshire.

They pair beautifully with the Merry Berry Christmas Jam from Highfield Preserves, another award-winning British business making their products from scratch. The mulled berry jam has a festive hit of spices in the berry and plu preserve, which is hand crafted in small batches in their premises in Devon.

Hampstead Tea call this Christmas tea "Christmas in a cup", and with the blend constituting 100% organic clove, cinnamon and orange, we can't agree more. Hampstead Tea is also an award-winning UK-based brand, known for its organic, fairtrade and biodynamic teas.

Pottery Care Instructions

Tableware

Can I put my tableware in the dishwasher?

Yes. All our ceramic tableware is dishwasher safe, including plates, bowls, and pouring and mixing bowls.

Can I use it in the microwave?

Yes, unless it has a metallic glaze. Metallic glazes can spark, so keep those pieces out of the microwave.

Will cutlery mark the glaze?

Occasionally, cutlery leaves grey marks on the glaze. Bar Keepers Friend removes them easily.

Mugs, muglets, mugsters & beakers

Can they go in the dishwasher?

Each handmade mug is made by hand, so we recommend washing it by hand too.

Can I microwave them?

We'd rather you didn't. To help your mug last longer, heat drinks in a jug or pan, then pour them in.

Jugs & vases

Are your vases watertight?

Yes. Each handmade vase has a clear glaze inside, so it holds water and keeps your flowers fresh.

How should I clean a jug or vase?

Wash them by hand.

The Pottery
Two decorative ceramic Christmas tree ornaments with green and white glaze, featuring circular cutouts that reveal warm light, set in white snow with festive blurred lights in the background.

Each piece we make has its own story as to how it began, how the form came about and the work emerged as part of our range.

Mug & Toast Plate Set from Glosters

We believe that the story, the soul of a piece, doesn't stop there. It continues with its new owner, where you bought it, why you choose that glaze.

A Christmas Tree Star from Glosters

All handmade ceramics hold far more than their original function. They hold memories from their maker, from their owner and all are individual.

A little glimpse behind the glaze

Handmade means hands-on, and that comes with its fair share of chaos. We wanted to let you in on what our workshop really looks like, clay dust, wonky first attempts and all, before a piece ever reaches your table.
Story through images.
