Getting ready for April

April is fast approaching and with that comes warmer weather, easter and an influx of people to the area.

To start April we'll be changing our window display here at the shop from our Mother's day vase collection ( which is now sold out!) to feature some beautiful creations which have just arrived by the super talented Lucy for The Cat In The Shoe. We are Lucy's very first bricks and mortar stockist which is super exciting!

Then we're moving quickly towards the Get Creative Weekend which is organised by the Bbc and the Arts Council. We're opening our workshop doors on saturday April 8th to all ages to come and have a go at making some pinch pots out of clay. These will be glazed and fired for a fee of £6.50. Booking is essential and can be done here - https://www.glosters.co.uk/collections/courses/products/get-creative-weekend-hey-clay-2017

We've also just had a couple of these pots come out of the kiln with 48 hours to go until mother's day if you're looking for a last minute gift but missed out on our vases!

April is a super busy month for us this year, we've got lots of courses, Easter and of course our ceramic easter egg hunt, we'll be hiding 30 ceramic eggs around Porthmadog, if you find one you're welcome to take it home with you for your easter tree (apparently this is a thing... I need an easter tree!) More info is over on our Facebook event-

To keep up with all these events and info I've started bullet journaling after seeing a youtube video from Nikki McWilliams (aka biscuit lady!), does anyone else do this? I do get a little worried when it looks messy though... but it's nice to have it all in one book and organised which is super handy with the meeting we go to for the christmas lights team and also now with the Commonwealth barton meetings- more on that soon!

(plus it's a Libertys notebook *swoon*)
