The quest for 'perfect purple'
•Posted on April 07 2017
Waster is fast approaching! I've adorned the shop and house in vases full of pussy willow covered in easter decorations, here are a few of the decorations we have in the shop ready for Waster. I absolutely love the laser cut and printed egg and rabbit decoration from Poppy Treffrey.
We've been on the quest for the perfect purple for a couple of moths now, who knew there where so many shades of purple! Finally after trig several we've come across a glaze which will be aptly known as 'the perfect purple', the first few vases and jugs came out of the kiln in this purple today, they are everything and more of what we expected!
We've had a busy week, we've been on Bbc Radio Cymru talking about the Get creative Course we have this Saturday in the workshop. Here's a photo of us playing about in the studio-
We've also done a little gardening, we now have some plant pots outside Glosters, one has a climbing rose in that I hope will frame with window in Pink roses come the summer. We're on the look out for some summer hanging baskets too.
As well as all of this we also had Cardigan Creative over yesterday for a photo shoot in the shop and workshop. Here's a couple of photo's from the shoot-
