Oh Gilbert, what will you get up to next! Our popular mascot, Gilbert the pumpkin, has taken to dressing up in delightful costumes to celebrate our seasonal launches, so for the 2026 Spring Collection he's donned a strawberry outfit. What is he like!

Gil-berry has a beautifully hand-painted bright red body, complete with real gold pips and a striking green leafy hat to protect him from the springtime sunshine. As always, Gil-berry is hollow, the perfect size in which to place a tealight candle to glow from the hand-carved eyes and wide Gilbert grin.

We recommend using battery-operated tealights as the ceramic will get hot if using real candles. Never leave lit candles unattended and keep out of reach of children. Only place on flat surfaces.

Gil-berry is handmade and painted here in our pottery workshop in Porthmadog, North Wales, where our team of ceramists create a wide collection of different shapes and designs of pottery using high quality stoneware clay.
