Ceramic Autumn Lantern - Angry Pear

As the chilling mists of Autumn envelop us, we embrace all things spooky for the season - pumpkins, ghosts, bats, and...pears. You didn't think we'd forget about A.P.? A.P - The Angry Pear - was a smash hit at our last sample sale so we simply had to bring him out as part of our Autumn 2024 launch. 

Based on the shape of the ceramic pear decoration we made last Christmas, we've carved a spooky smile and wide eyes into the bulbous form before glazing it in pea green - is this a ghoulie or a pear?

approx 10cm height (including stalk) x 7cm width 

The Angry Pear is the perfect size to sit over a tealight candle, flickering magnificently against the shiny glaze of the lantern. We do recommend using battery-operated tealights as AP will get all hot and bothered from a real flame within - please make sure he's stable on a flat surface. 

The Autumn 2024 launch is jam-packed with spooky ceramics and home decor items, all of which are handmade here in Porthmadog by our workshop's talented ceramists. We use only high quality stoneware clay and glazes from our local suppliers, and quality check all items before sending.
