A cheese slut dish from Glosters
coming soon

Cheese Slut Dish

Regular price £28.00
Taxes included.

You. Me. Everyone in the whole Glosters team (almost). We're all cheese sluts, and we're not afraid to say it. What's not to love about a gooey baked Camembert with hot honey and rosemary, served up with some fresh bread (or gluten-free crackers)... I'm drooling just thinking about it!

All the details

The Cheese Slut! Dish is the perfect way to serve up your favourite baked cheese recipe this Christmas. It's a delicious redesign of our ever-popular ceramic pot: The Dish, glazed in our mustard yellow with spots that look like cheese holes and the caption 'Cheese Slut!'.

The Cheese Slut! Dish is made by hand from start to finish, being thrown, glazed and decorated by our team of ceramists in our pottery workshop in Porthmadog. The letters of the Cheese Slut! caption have been stamped by hand, and made with love as part of our Christmas 2026 collection.

Size:
13cm wide x 7.5cm high

The Cheese Slut Dish is made from high quality stoneware clay from our local provider and is microwave- and dishwasher-safe, and can be used in the oven to 200 degrees Celsius when warmed from cold. We recommend hand-washing your pottery to get the best life from it.

This ceramic bowl is part of a large collection of handmade ceramics from our local pottery team, all of which are eligible for flat rate domestic UK shipping of just £4.95. Take advantage of the offer and stock up on pottery gifts for Christmas or nab those handmade mugs you've got your eye on.

Please note that each cheese slut dish is handmade and decorated and thus may differ slightly from that pictured.

Pottery Care Instructions

Tableware

Can I put my tableware in the dishwasher?

Yes. All our ceramic tableware is dishwasher safe, including plates, bowls, and pouring and mixing bowls.

Can I use it in the microwave?

Yes, unless it has a metallic glaze. Metallic glazes can spark, so keep those pieces out of the microwave.

Will cutlery mark the glaze?

Occasionally, cutlery leaves grey marks on the glaze. Bar Keepers Friend removes them easily.

Mugs, muglets, mugsters & beakers

Can they go in the dishwasher?

Each handmade mug is made by hand, so we recommend washing it by hand too.

Can I microwave them?

We'd rather you didn't. To help your mug last longer, heat drinks in a jug or pan, then pour them in.

Jugs & vases

Are your vases watertight?

Yes. Each handmade vase has a clear glaze inside, so it holds water and keeps your flowers fresh.

How should I clean a jug or vase?

Wash them by hand.

The Pottery
Two decorative ceramic Christmas tree ornaments with green and white glaze, featuring circular cutouts that reveal warm light, set in white snow with festive blurred lights in the background.

Each piece we make has its own story as to how it began, how the form came about and the work emerged as part of our range.

Mug & Toast Plate Set from Glosters

We believe that the story, the soul of a piece, doesn't stop there. It continues with its new owner, where you bought it, why you choose that glaze.

A Christmas Tree Star from Glosters

All handmade ceramics hold far more than their original function. They hold memories from their maker, from their owner and all are individual.

A little glimpse behind the glaze

Handmade means hands-on, and that comes with its fair share of chaos. We wanted to let you in on what our workshop really looks like, clay dust, wonky first attempts and all, before a piece ever reaches your table.
