How To Create a Simple Spring Bouquet on a Budget
•Posted on March 10 2019
Happy weekend everyone!
Today I thought I'd share something a little different with you in the form of a video... so don't laugh!
What I'm up to-
It's a short video on how I style our vases in the shop. I really love to dedicate some time each Friday making a little arrangement for the shop and for the house so I thought I'd share how I do this, how quick and easy it can be to create something really beautiful and effective as well as affordable!
In the video I style 3 vases, one of our large, medium and small vases using some flowers and foliage I picked from our local florist this morning. I was able to style all 3 for under £10 and still had some left to create a simple table centre with one of our pasta bowls, it just goes to show that it's really affordable to add something seasonal to your home or as gifts for friends and family (mother's day is fast approaching!)
What I Used-
I used some solidago (green and yellow foliage) wax flower, daffodils, hellebores and eucalyptus for todays arrangement. (You'll have to excuse my pronunciation of hellebores and the fact that I didn't know what the yellow foliage was... I'm no florist!)
Hope you find it useful and give it ago yourselves.
I'm sure if you're local Sue at Liliwen would help you pick some suitable foliage and flowers and don't forget you can forage from you're own garden too! (possibly not in this rain) but plenty of daffodils are out with greenery making an appearance too.
